Richard Alvarado

Life takes us places. Love brings us home.  After spending 11, life-changing years in Southern
California, Richard’s love of his family brought him back to his native state of Texas to be closer
to his aging parents. 

Richard’s time in California gave him a diverse range of management experience that he now
puts to work helping clients achieve their real estate dreams.  Richard has led award-winning
sales teams, built brands, managed people and processes, and honed his negotiating skills in the
packaged goods industry. In 2015, craving more one-on-one interaction with people, Richard
shifted his focus to residential real estate, and he launched his career in real estate in the greater
Los Angeles area. Even with the success he experienced in Los Angeles, Richard’s Texas roots
called him back home.

Born and raised just outside of Austin, Richard graduated from Texas A&M University where he
served in the Corps of Cadets.  Richard’s upbringing and his time in the Corps gave him a strong
sense of integrity and a “roll up your sleeves” work ethic that is the foundation of his client
service mindset.  He works tirelessly to remain at the forefront of market shifts and to provide his
clients with strategic insight into the ever-changing Austin market. No doubt, you can count on
Richard to shoot you straight and work tirelessly to help you get where you want to be. Easy to
talk to and with a clear desire to serve, you’ll find that working with Richard feels more like a
friendship than a business deal.

Outside of work Richard enjoys spending time with his rescue dog Zoë, taking his parents on
adventures, relaxing on a blanket at Zilker Park or Barton Springs, or paddle boarding on Town
Lake.
